...of Fish in the sea.

“Okay.  But if I’m a boat, then you’re - “

  ”Then I’m the ocean?  I encompass you?”

“No.  If I’m a boat, then you’re a weird, grotesque, end-of-days fish skimming along the darkness of sea’s hell.”

  ”Wow.”

“Yeah.”

  ”But I’m glowing, right?”

“What?”

  ”Those glowing fish, you know?  With, like, a lightbulb dangling from their head, in front of their eyes.  I’m one of those, right?”

“Sure.  You’re glowing.”

  ”But you’re not.  You’re just…You’re just humming along the very top of my environment.  You can see me if you really want to.  Observe…”

“Right.  But I don’t belong.  We are not the same.”

  ”Okay, I’ll take that.  At least I’m…glowing.”
